Presidents' Day 2021 Sales: What Would Washington Buy?

Presidents' Day is a U.S. holiday that honors present and past leaders of the Free World. Some Americans take the day off to commemorate history. Others see it as a joint celebration of two extraordinary commanders-in-chief: George Washington (born February 22) and Abraham Lincoln (born February 12). And many shoppers — including us — thank our forefathers for a day (or, rather, a weekend) of free-market deals and deep discounts.

SHOP: MORE PRESIDENTS' DAY SALES

Along with shopping early sales, Presidents' Day had us thinking: What would Washington buy today if he were still alive? Would Lincoln prefer a laptop, tablet, or desktop? So, instead of the typical holiday sales roundup of mattresses and kitchen appliances, we pulled together a list of Presidents' Day sale items we think past heads of state would approve.
